Resetting Netgear extender – Netgear extender reset through mywifiext.net
• Connect your Netgear Extender to a power source and make sure you are able to see a solid light for power on the power LED Connect your Extender.
• Open a web browser on your wireless or wired connected computer and type www.mywifiext.net in the address bar of the web browser. You can also try to login via default Netgear extender login IP address “192.168.1.250” which will also redirect you to the new Netgear extender’s setup page.
• Perform Netgear Extender Login in the menu where you will be prompted with a username and password field on the login page.
• Enter the Default Netgear Extender login credentials in the provided Netgear extender login fields as admin and password in username and password field respectively.
• The Netgear extender’s setup page will be displayed.
• Go to the Settings option and then click on other option.
• Click on the RESET option.
